Privacy policy
⚠️ Draft — not yet reviewed
This policy has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not final. It is published here so it can be checked before launch.
If you need to know how we handle your information right now, please ask us on the contact page.
This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit this website or get in touch with us.
1. Who we are
Video Editor Agency is a trading name of Mango Media Digital, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mango Media Digital is the data controller for the information described in this policy — that means we are the ones who decide why and how it is used, and we are responsible for it.
You can reach us about anything in this policy using the details on our contact page.
You can reach us about anything in this policy at videoeditoragency.hello@gmail.com.
2. The short version
This website has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookie banner, because it sets no cookies of its own and does not track you. It is plain HTML and CSS with no JavaScript. Two things do involve someone other than us, and they are described in §5 and §6.
3. Information you give us
There is currently no contact form on this website. If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, your contact details, and whatever you tell us about your project.
We use that information only to:
- reply to you;
- prepare a quote or a proposal;
- deliver work you have asked us to do; and
- keep our own records of what was agreed.
We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list because you enquired.
4. Footage and files you send us
If you become a client you will send us video footage and related files. Those files sometimes contain personal information — faces, voices, names, and occasionally information about people other than you.
We treat that material as yours. We use it only to produce the work you have commissioned, we do not use it to train anything, and we do not publish any of it as a portfolio piece without asking you first.
We keep project files for as long as we are working with you and while you may still need them re-delivered. You can ask us to delete your footage and project files at any time and we will do so, unless we are required to keep something for accounting purposes.
5. Fonts loaded from Google
This site uses the Inter typeface, which is loaded from Google Fonts. That means your browser requests the font files from Google when the page loads, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. This happens automatically on every page, and we do not receive or store any of that information ourselves.
Google’s handling of that request is covered by
Google’s privacy policy.
If you would rather this did not happen, most browsers and content
blockers can block requests to fonts.googleapis.com and
fonts.gstatic.com; the site will still work and will simply
use a standard system typeface instead.
6. Video on the portfolio page
Our portfolio page shows still images of our work. Those images are hosted by us. If you click one to play the video, it loads from YouTube at that point, and YouTube may then set cookies and receive information about your visit under Google’s own privacy policy. Nothing is loaded from YouTube unless you click.
7. Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to deliver the page to you — including your IP address — and keeps short-term logs for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, or to have it sent to someone else. If you are in the UK or the EU, these rights come from the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.
To exercise any of them, contact us using the details on the contact page. We will respond within one month.
If you are in the UK or the EU and you are not happy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information — for example, if we add a contact form — we will update this page and change the date at the top of it.
